Purple Berry
Berries are abundant right now and I'm loving it. Just found this website seasonal berries focusing on amazing they are
I started my purple fix today with a special chiaberry wake-up inspired by Kate Magic's love of superfoods and Chia seeds which are a rich vegan source of the essential omega-3 fatty acid, ALA. You can buy them on Kate's site here or if you live in Bristol, you can find then in Harvest on Gloucester Road.

Recipe for Chia breakfast:
- soak 2 heaped tablespoons of chia seeds in filtered water and add a handful of raisins and goji berries - leave for about 20- 30 minutes (the raisins make this really sweet so there's no need for additional sweeteners)
- stir in superfoods powders of your choice - this one had 1/2 tsp of purple corn and 1/2 tsp of he shou woo - these are optional but just add a little magic
- sprinkle with fresh berries
- optional extra - stir in some soaked nuts or seeds as desired (almonds work really well with this) - soak the nuts, ideally for a few hours or overnight to release enzyme inhibitors (more info about the benefits of soaked almonds here)
